There's an online petition up for a new AvP film. The petition wants it directed by David Twohy, the writer and director of Pitch Black. It prefers AvP3 to be set in a futuristic setting.

"Many Alien and Predator fans would prefer to have AvP 3 feature the futuristic space setting and David Twohy is the perfect candidate to direct an AvP film set in the future. Twohy is very talented in terms of both writing and direction as we have all seen and he can make an excellent AvP film set in the future. The worlds created and the atmosphere established by David Twohy for the Ridthingy films are excellent and even unmatched by most recent films as crafting and translating believable, awe-inspiring and visually complex worlds onto film, much like Ridley Scott, is David Twohy's specialty. David Twohy's films have the right ingredient for an AvP film set in the future and David Twohy's direction, style and creative visual eye is perfectly suited for an AvP film."

Aparentemente se ha creado una petecion On line para un Aliens vs Predator 3 dirigido por David Twohy,para los que no conozcan a este señor,es el director de Pitch Black y su secuela.

La peticion tambien asegura que la linea temporal de la peli sea futuristica,razon por la cual se eligio a Twohy para entrar en la propouesta.
En mi opinion es una muy buena iniciativa,y hoy estuve viendo unas partes de ''La batalla de Ridthingy'' y tiene unas escenas de accion y un escenario inperdibles.
Pero...ya saben,hasta los mas grandes pueden demostrar horrores ,hasta en un proyecto copado.

No me fío de petitiononline, hace tiempo hubo dos peticiones para un juego AvP3 y se rebasaron los límites mínimos, y aún así por el momento no parecen habernos hecho caso.

Pero bueno, en fin, nunca sobra una firma más. Estoy completamente a favor en ver un AvP3 futurista y en el espacio jejejeje.

Mmmmm..... David Twohy... me gusto lo justo las cronicas de R I D D I C K.... pero sus demas peliculas son casi casi desconocidas y no muy buenas que digamos..... esperemos que siendo un mejor guonista que director, si es que llega a darse que le entreguen la responsabilidad de una AVP3, ponga mucho de si en el guion para hacer una verdadera buena pelicula, quiza la ultima de la saga...

Wow que avanza rapido la recopilacion de peticiones, espero que lleguemos pronto a las 1000 para que quizas un quizas llegue una nueva persona y que tiene conocimientos sobre el futuro para hacer avp3, por que no creo que ridley tome el proyecto, pero dice que quiere hacer una de alien nueva por que no tomar avp3 que es como lo mismo solo le agrega misterio y horror con el pred y seria una gran obra de arte.

(It seems my old ALIEN 3 script figures into this master plan, too, in ways that aren’t entirely clear to me.) My reaction is 'Hmm.' Flattering? Sure. Realistic? Not so much. See, if I’m going to spend a year of my life (and more if I write it) on the third installment of a science-fiction series, well, why wouldn’t I just do the third installment of my own science-fiction series?"
Bummer. Is it the end of this little adventure? Hell no. The people behind the petition contacted Twohy again, and he almost relented; he said if the fans can get Fox's attention on this, he might be interested.

We'll keep you posted on what happens. For now, the petition organizers want more signatures so they can take it to Fox and be taken seriously. Sign today!

Parece interesado en la petición el propio director, dice que cuantos más firmemos puede que calemos más en la FOX, ya van como 1.400 firmas.
